Campus Tours

Juilliard provides campus tours for prospective students, their families, and qualified groups. These tours take two forms: Individual General Tours and Private Group Tours.

Both tour types are led by currently enrolled Juilliard students and provide an inside look at classrooms, practice rooms, and performance spaces as available, and are happy to answer your questions. Our guides also share their personal experiences as Juilliard students, which can be especially informative to prospective applicants and their families.

Departmental Information Sessions & Tours

These information sessions provide a concentrated experience and allow you to hear directly from students and administrators with first-hand knowledge of the training offered. Information sessions focused on the following areas of study will be offered in the fall semester: Composition, Orchestral and Keyboard Instruments; Jazz Studies; Vocal Arts; and Dance.

A tour of Juilliard's facilities will follow and will visit the same spaces as the Campus Tour. Because of this, we ask that you please do not register for both a Campus Tour and a departmental information session.

Drama Division Spotlights & Tours

The Drama Division offers four Spotlight on Drama events during the fall semester. Each of these Spotlights include a tour, an information session, and tickets to that day's performance. The Drama Division offers select tours throughout the fall semester.

Class Observations

Prospective students interested in Dance or Music who plan to apply to a college program in the next 1-2 years can arrange to observe academic and performance classes on a case-by-case basis.

Please note, the Drama Division has created a safe environment in which students can learn, practice, and take artistic risks. The intimate nature of the training and class size make it extremely difficult to observe these classes. For these reasons, observations of Drama Division classes cannot be arranged.
